Woke up this morning to a chilly and rainy day so decided to run on the treadmill instead. So, ran for about 5.5 miles at a nice easy pace. Then tonight swam for about 60 minutes and felt nice and relaxed in the water.
I found out yesterday one of my teammates, Paul, fell on the bike ride and is pretty banged up. He is suppose to do Ironman Florida and he's not sure if he will be able to do it. I hope he can do it. It just goes to show you that anything can happen and the hardest thing to do is to get to the starting line healthy. I hope I see Paul out there on Saturday!

P.S. - As taper week ends, I was talking to my father today and he was asking me about my workouts this week. Since he is now in taper for his marathon debut, he commented that my taper is his full week of workouts. I laughed and said no not really and then realized how what used to be a hard week of workouts for me, is really less then a typical week of training for me. : )
