One Year Later...

So, it is now one year later and not a day has gone by in which I have not thought about IMCDA and how I can manage my time to do another Ironman. Carol asked me the other day why do I feel the need to do another Ironman and my response was simple, "the distance calls for me." In other words, once you have been there, you just can't wait to do it again and again and again. Currently, I am only running and training for two fall marathons as I do not have the time to swim and bike but hope to be in the next few months. Will 2009 be an opportunity for a second IM or will I need to wait until there is more time to train. We will see. In the meantime, I will keep running, staying in shape and looking forward to training and crossing that Ironman finish line. Good luck to all of Team Z who is going to Placid in July.
